Summary:
This report from Tinuiti, a media agency that sells ad management and marketing services, tracks quarterly digital ad trends across Google, Meta, Amazon, Walmart, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest and Snapchat. It compares ad spend, pricing, clicks, impressions and sales in Q2 2026 with the same quarter a year earlier.
The data comes from anonymized performance data of ad programs managed by Tinuiti, with over $4 billion in annual ad spend. Only programs that stayed active and kept a consistent strategy are included, and most figures show same-client growth.
Key findings:
• Amazon ads grew fastest, boosted by Prime Day moving to June. Sponsored Products spend rose 38%, Amazon DSP 67% and Prime Video ads 48%. Without the Prime Day dates, Sponsored Products would still have grown 23%.
• Google search spend grew 14% while CPC rose just 1%. Shopping ads led with 18% spend growth.
• Meta ad prices came back. Meta CPM rose 10%, the fastest growth since Q1 2022. On Facebook, a 13% CPM jump pushed spend up 7%. Instagram spend grew 17%, with Reels reaching a record 35% of impressions.
• Reddit grew fastest among social platforms (+33%), and TikTok spend kept recovering (+31%). Pinterest and Snapchat spend fell.
• Walmart Sponsored Products spend rose 51%.
• TV screens drive YouTube video ads, taking 75% of video campaign spend, while total YouTube spend grew 15%.
Margin notes:
This is a vendor report based on the agency's own client data, so it reflects Tinuiti-managed advertisers, not the whole market or official platform results.
